OF A MAJOR FIRE THAT ERUPTED
AT NAZARETH HOUSE IN THE 1930'S
I BELIEVE WITH ONE FATALITY OF A
DISABLED CHILD SO I HAVE BEEN TOLD. I
HAVE BEEN TOLD THE NUNS WHERE ALL
OUTSIDE MORE WORRIED ABOUT THE SMOKE
DAMAGE ON THEIR CLOTHING THAN TRYING TO
GET THE CHILDREN TO SAFETY. I HAVE BEEN
TOLD THIS BY THE SON OF A MOTHER WHO WAS
IN THERE AT THE TIME OF THE RAGING FIRE TRYING
TO HELP GET THE CHILDREN OUT TO SAFETY AND SHE A
MERE CHILD HERSELF. IN MY OPINION
WOULDN'T YOU HAVE THOUGHT THAT THE DISABLED
YOUNG CHILD WOULD HAVE BEEN THE FIRST OUT AND NOT THE NUNS GRRRRRRRRRRR:(
1950'S OF THE BABY GIRLS AT
NAZARETH HOUSE ABERDEEN
ENTRANCE WHERE I GREW UP BETWEEN THE AGES
OF 11-15
WERE I GREW UP BETWEEN THE AGES OF 2-11 YEARS OF AGE
